RELO Training recently welcomed delegates from Llanfairfechan, Liverpool, Warrington, Flint, Bolton and Blackpool to our Newton-le-Willows training centre for the CPCS A62 Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor course.
The A62 qualification is designed for individuals responsible for supervising lifting operations and ensuring lifting activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with industry legislation.
The course covered:
- Roles and responsibilities of the Crane Supervisor
- Safe systems of work
- Lift plan implementation
- Communication and coordination of lifting teams
- Exclusion zones and site safety management
- Understanding legal duties under LOLER and BS7121
Candidates attending the programme came from a range of backgrounds including housebuilding, ports, infrastructure and heavy industrial projects across the North West and North Wales.
