RELO Training recently welcomed delegates from across the North West and North Wales as candidates attended our CPCS A40 Slinger/Signaller course, CPCS A60 Mobile Crane course and CPCS A62 lift Supervisor course at our Newton-le-Willows training centre.
The course attracted candidates travelling from Liverpool, Wrexham, Preston, Stoke, Warrington, Southport, Fleetwood, Blackpool, Colwyn Bay, the Wirral and Deeside, highlighting the growing demand for high-quality lifting operations training throughout the region.
The CPCS A40 Slinger/Signaller course provides candidates with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely attach and direct loads during lifting operations. Throughout the programme, delegates covered:
- Inspection and selection of lifting accessories
- Safe slinging techniques
- Communication methods and hand signals
- Establishing exclusion zones
- Understanding lifting hazards and control measures
- Responsibilities of the Slinger/Signaller
With lifting operations playing a critical role across construction, infrastructure and industrial projects, competent Slinger/Signallers remain in high demand throughout Merseyside, Lancashire and North Wales.
The latest course included candidates working within major projects across Liverpool, Chester, Rhyl and Preston, with many looking to progress their careers and gain nationally recognised CPCS certification.
